Mapledurham Lock CIC was formed in April 2025 with 6 directors.

Our bank account has been barren, until we were fortunate enough to receive a Veolia Grant in February 2026. This has allowed us to get underway with our governance and compliance activities and put us out there.

In addition, we have received funding from Purley Parish Council, allowing us to create and host this website.

If you want to, and can help - we welcome donations of flowers to make the area like it was in the past - colourful and welcoming! Flower donations can be made by taking your spare flowers directly to the lock keeper, or if you would like to donate money please drop us an email on mapledurhamlock@gmail.com and we can share our bank account details (we cannot share bank details on this website).
